Wow!  What a shame Heath Ledger is not here
to accept the awards he will surely win for
his role. 

Made dinner tonight for Hal and Betsy.  I

Busy week.  I have been trying not to think about
all of the bad housing & economic news.  Makes me
not want to even turn on the TV.

Its a beautiful, but rainy Saturday here in
Northern New Jersey.

104 Degrees in the Shade

There are a lot of things to miss about Texas.   
My friends here are absolutely the best.   But
there is one thing that I won't miss about Texas.
It is currently an amazing 104 degrees in the
shade outside right now.  You will notice the
weather banners I had on this site are now
gone, and that is because  the one for
Whitney claimed 85 degrees.  No Way! 
In spite of the heat, I have had a terrific few
days here.  No matter where else I call
home, I will always feel at home here as well.

Newsflash!!!!   Roseanna will be coming to New
Jersey  for the few weeks around Thanksgiving.   
Also, a trip "home" to Texas is in the cards for
Christmas this year.   I can't imagine not being
at Arrowhead for Christmas  so the tickets were
purchased tonight!
